PGA Tour: Pebble Beach Pro-Am 2022 Golf Picks and Betting Odds

The fresh season of golf continues this week with the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am on Thursday morning held at Pebble Beach in California. As with every event on the golf schedule, we've got three outright winner picks, ranging from one of the favorites to some mega value!

After picking Hideki Matsuyama to win the Sony Open a few weeks ago at +2000 odds, we're feeling good about going again with this week's picks.

So let's look to this week's Pebble Beach Pro-Am and three guys that we like to win this week's golf tournament, varying from one of the best chances, who still represents good value, down to some nice plays on a couple of stars that look set for big weeks at longer odds (see Reed and Harman)! We also show you the best sportsbook promos to play.

With crowds back and a host of big names out there, we're set for an awesome four days of golf... and betting... in California! As we do each and every tournament, we provide you with our best golf picks for outright winner, as well as some in-play picks throughout.

Let's get into our best bets for this week ⬇️

Golf Picks: 2022 Pebble Beach Pro-Am

Top Pick - Patrick Cantlay

Yes, we're going with the chalk again. Last week we picked Jon Rahm at similar odds, only for the Spaniard to fall short, but this around the favorite is Patrick Cantlay, and there's very good reason for that.

In his last three PGA events, Cantlay has finished 1st, 1st, 4th and 9th, with last season's FedEx Cup going his way. In between these appearances, he also played a vital role in the Ryder Cup win, picking up 3.5 points from 4 matches. Simply put, Patrick Cantlay is on fire.

On top of his recent form, Cantlay was impressive at this very tournament last season, finishing at T3 behind (our successful pick of) Daniel Berger.

Cantlay is pretty short odds this week, but he's clearly the best player in this field and should at least find himself very much in the mix late on Sunday.

Value Pick - Jason Day

If not for his T3 finish at the American Express last week, we'd probably be getting even better odds on Day to win this week. But even at +2000, his history at this tournament makes for good value.

The Australian has extraordinarily not finished worse than T11 in his last seven starts here, including a T7 last season.

Interestingly, the former world number one has never won here and will be eyeing it off as a chance to get his first PGA victory since 2018, considering he's in form and loves playing here.

His performance at the AmEx last week should instil confidence in bettors, with Day's strong play looking quite sustainable after a change of swing to help limit the risk of injuries that have plagued his career.

Dark Horse - Christiaan Bezuidenhout

One of the favorites here in the Dimers office, Christiaan Bezuidenhout is yet to get his first win on the PGA TOUR.

The 27-year-old South African has continued to improve since he's professional career started, with a win on American soil the next step to becoming a more well-known guy.

Bez has had two Top-20 finishes already this season, showing nice improvement on last season where he finished on that same number.

Approaches from 100-125 yards are seen as important on these courses, and the South African is currently ranked 7th on the TOUR from this distance this season.
