Popular Sports in New Jersey
Since sports betting was legalized in New Jersey, there has been a lot on interest in betting on the state’s favourite sports. Below are some of the most popular sports the fans like to bet on.
⚾ MLB
New Jersey doesn’t have its own home-based MLB team, but it does have two New York teams based in the state. These teams are the New York Yankees and the New York Mets, and residents of the state tend to follow one of these big name teams – with the Yankees having the bigger number of fans.

Much like with MLB, the teams the majority of New Jersey residents like to bet on are from New York.
