College basketball prop bets today and tonight
In college basketball, player props all depend on how many minutes each player gets. Season averages won't tell you that. They don’t take into account a starter coming back from injury or a lineup change that sends him to the bench. December stat lines against overmatched opponents don't carry over to a conference road trip in February, either. So when betting props, you want insights that account for these variances.
We built a college props model all around expected player minutes. We project each player's stat line from his anticipated gametime, his recent and longer-term production, and the matchup. We then hold that projection against the player’s prop line at sportsbooks and prediction markets.
The best CBB player props today we list here are the bets where our modeled probability beats the posted price, through to tonight's late tips out West.
Our model only projects players with expected minutes. Outside of March Madness, most games don't have expected minutes for every player, so our NCAA basketball player props today won't cover every player in every game. If we don’t cover a prop, it may be worth reconsidering if it’s a bet. If we do cover a prop, we’ve already confirmed the minutes for you. Lineups can change rapidly too, so always check a prop line directly with your chosen sportsbook or prediction market before betting.
Three props on our board are free every day, and Dimers Pro opens the full board, with filters.
What makes a +EV college basketball player prop?
A college basketball player prop is a bet on one player's stat line, such as points, rebounds, or assists, rather than the result of the game. A +EV prop is one where our model gives the result a higher probability than a sportsbook's odds or a prediction market’s price implies.
Say a sportsbook lists a player at 14.5 points, with the over at -110. That price implies a 52.4% chance. If our model gives the over 58%, the prop carries a 5.6% edge, and it's +EV. At 51%, it isn't, even though the over is still the likelier side.
Betting for +EV asks whether the price undervalues the result. Any single prop can still miss, so +EV betting is about the price you get across many bets. Every one of our NCAA player props today runs that test

How to read our college basketball player props
Each of our NCAAB player props shows the player, the matchup, the prop line, and four numbers:
- Projection: The stat line our model expects from that player in that game.
- Probability: Our model's chance that the prop hits, from the projection rather than the odds.
- Edge: The difference between our probability and the probability implied by the best available odds. A worse price elsewhere means a smaller edge.
- Best odds: The highest price we found for that prop across sportsbooks and prediction markets. The edge on each card is calculated against this number.
A prop we rate at 60% still misses four times in 10, and a losing night is normal even when every prop carried an edge.

How our model projects college basketball player props
Our college basketball player props model works player by player. It projects points, rebounds, assists, 3-pointers made, steals, blocks, and more for starters with expected minutes. We build our projections using these four inputs:
- Historical performance: Recent form and longer-term production, so one big night doesn't pass for a new baseline.
- Playing time: Expected minutes, which is how injuries and lineup changes reach the projection.
- Matchup context: Opposition strength and positional matchups.
- Market validation: Our projections compared with public markets.
Expected minutes are the gate. The model only projects players who have them, and outside March Madness most games don't have expected minutes for every player. On a regular-season night, a player without a minutes projection won't appear on the board, whatever his line.
Our College Basketball Predictions work differently. They price every Division I game from team data, so they cover the whole slate.
Both our player projections and probabilities update throughout the day, every day of the season.
College basketball player props by market
A college game runs for 40 minutes, eight fewer than an NBA game. So the counting stats behind each line can run smaller. Each NCAA prop market leans on a different mix of minutes, form, and matchup:
- Points: Scoring form and minutes, against the defense a player faces.
- Rebounds: Minutes and the positional matchup inside.
- Assists: The stat we're named for, since a dime is an assist. It follows a ball-handler's minutes and role.
- 3-pointers made: Volume and form from deep, against the opponent's defense.
- Steals and blocks: Small counts, so one play can decide the prop.
- Turnovers: Minutes and a player's role with the ball.

Men's March Madness player props
Once the field is set on Selection Sunday, our March Madness player props follow the men's NCAA tournament from the Opening Round to the national championship game. It's also when our board is fullest, because outside the tournament most games don't have expected minutes for every player.
For bracket-wide bets beyond single players, our March Madness prop bets guide explains how they work.

Responsible gambling
A player prop can miss, and so can a run of them. A college basketball Saturday runs from noon to past midnight ET, and props multiply the lines, with several players in every game and several stats for every player. That makes it easy to bet more than you planned. Set a weekly bankroll rather than a nightly one, so one crowded slate can't take the whole budget. Only bet what you can afford to lose, and treat a loss as money spent rather than something to win back at the next tip.
If gambling is causing harm for you or someone close to you, our responsible gambling resources include support services and self-exclusion options.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are the best college basketball player props today?
Today's best college basketball player props are in the table above, each with our projection, probability, edge, and the best available odds. Three are free every day, with the full board reserved for Dimers Pro members. Our board covers players with expected minutes, so it won't include every player on the slate.
Are our college basketball player props free?
Yes. Three CBB player props are free every day. For every prop on the board, plus filters, join Dimers Pro.
Do you have player props for every college basketball game?
No. Our model only projects players with expected minutes, and outside March Madness most games don't have confirmed gametime for every player. For the main betting markets, our College Basketball Predictions cover every Division I game.
What is a +EV college basketball prop bet?
A +EV (positive expected value) prop bet is one our model rates as more likely to hit than its price implies. An over at -110 needs to hit 52.4% of the time to break even, so a 58% probability is +EV and a 51% one is not.
What does the edge on a college basketball player prop mean?
The edge is the gap between our probability and the probability implied by the best available odds. An under at +120 implies 45.5%, so if our model has it at 50%, the edge is 4.5%. A worse price at another sportsbook means a smaller edge on the same prop.
Do you cover March Madness player props?
Yes. Once the field is set on Selection Sunday, our player props follow the men's NCAA tournament from the Opening Round to the national championship game. It's the fullest board of the season, because outside the tournament, most games don't have expected minutes for every player.
How often are college basketball player props updated?
Throughout the day, every day of the season. A prop's edge moves with its price, so check back near tip-off for the latest numbers.
How accurate are our college basketball player props?
Every prop is a probability, and a prop at 60% still misses four times in 10. Our model projects each player's stat line from his recent and longer-term production, his expected minutes, and the matchup, and checks its projections against public markets.
