Information That We Automatically Collect

As you use and access our Site, we and our service providers (which are third party companies that work on our behalf to provide and enhance the Site) may use a variety of technologies to automatically collect information, including but not limited to:

Usage Information: Please be aware that our Site collects usage data, such as the source address from which a page request originates (i.e., your IP address, domain name, type of computer), date and time of the page request, the referring web site (if any), and other parameters in the URL (e.g., search criteria). We use this data, for instance, to better understand our Site usage in the aggregate so that we know which areas our Site users prefer (e.g., based on the number of visits to those areas). This information is stored in log files and is used for aggregated and statistical reporting. It is not attributed to you as an individual (i.e., log files are not associated with any particular user, computer, or browser). We also collect information through defect-tracking services, database and/or monitoring services, and error monitoring services (Atlassian, Rollbar) to fix errors which occur on the Site;

Location Information: We collect and process general information about the location of the device from which you are accessing the Site (e.g., approximate geographic location inferred from an IP address).

Cookies and Browser Information: iRival Media uses cookies for a variety of purposes. A cookie is a name for tokens of information that our Site may provide to your browser while you are at the Site. Cookies are stored on your device’s hard drive and, once placed there, the cookie will remain until you remove it. We use cookies for a variety of purposes, including but not limited to (a) helping us keep track of the items that you add to a watchlist, information you add to a profile, or items you place in your shopping cart; (b) helping us to better understand our Site usage in the aggregate so that we know what areas of the Site users prefer; and (c) to collect information that will help us customize content specific to your interests and make your navigation of our Site easier during subsequent visits. We also use cookies when you register for our user account to authenticate you and provide you access to those areas of the Site and to simplify your data entry for some of our online forms. We may also use temporary or “session” cookies to help you learn more about and/or order our services. If you simply want to browse, you do not have to accept cookies from the Site. Should you decide that you would like to register and login to special areas of the Site and you have modified your browser settings not to accept cookies, you will need to reset your browser to accept the cookies that we send it. Otherwise, you may not be able to participate in certain areas of the Site. Most browsers are defaulted to accept and maintain cookies.

Web Beacons: Web beacons (also known as “web bugs”) are strings of code that provide a method of delivering a graphic image on a web page or in an email message for the purpose of transferring data. We may use web beacons on our Site or include them in the email messages we send. We use these for many purposes, including site traffic reporting, unique visitor counts, advertising email auditing and reporting, and personalization. Information gathered through web beacons may be linked to your Personal Information.

IP Addresses and Log Files: An Internet Protocol (“IP”) address is a number assigned to each computer on a network to identify your computer every time you log on to the Internet. We may keep track of IP addresses to troubleshoot technical concerns and to maintain the safety and security of our Site, such as by reviewing your IP address in combination with your Personal Information for credit fraud protection and risk reduction. In addition, we may use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer this Site, track traffic patterns, and gather demographic information for aggregate use.

Use of Cookies

Most web browsers allow some control of most cookies through the browser settings. For more information on this, and more information about cookies in general, you may wish to visit www.aboutcookies.org. For information about how to delete cookies from your mobile phone you will need to refer to your handset manual. Please be aware that restricting cookies is likely to impact on your ability to use our website effectively and may make areas of our website inaccessible or inoperable.

If you no longer want to receive personalized advertising on any website you visit, you can usually opt out directly through the privacy policy of the particular website you are accessing. Please note that this will not block ads that are displayed on the websites you visit, it will simply stop you receiving advertising that has been tailored to your interests. This opt out relies on a cookie, so if you wipe all your cookies then that website will no longer know that you have opted out. The same applies if you use a different internet browser, or use a new computer to access the internet. You can also opt out of such advertising by visiting the IAB opt-out platform at www.youronlinechoices.com. Please note that this and other platforms allow you to op-tout of interest-based advertising delivered by registered members.

Why Do We Use Cookies?

We use first-party and third-party cookies for several reasons. Some cookies are required for technical reasons in order for the Site to operate, and we refer to these as “essential” or “strictly necessary” cookies. Other cookies also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on the Site. Third parties serve cookies through the Site for advertising, analytics, and other purposes. This is described in more detail below.

Essential Website Cookies

These cookies are strictly necessary to provide you with services available through the Site and to use some of its features, such as access to secure areas.

Because these cookies are strictly necessary to deliver the Site to you, they cannot be refused.

You can block or delete these cookies by changing your browser settings.

Performance, Functionality and Targeting Cookies

These cookies are used to enhance the performance and functionality of the Site but are non-essential to its use. However, without these cookies, certain functionality may become unavailable.

When you first visit our site, you will see a 'cookie banner' which allows you to choose which types of cookies to accept or reject. You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking on the 'Cookie Settings' button. Further information on OneTrust can be found at https://www.onetrust.com/cookie-policy/ and https://www.onetrust.com/privacy-notice/.

The Cookies We Use Are As Follows:

Google Analytics: A web analysis service provided by Google, uses cookies to collect information such as how often users visit the Site, what they view on the Site, and which websites they visited before coming to the Site. In addition, Google AdWords uses cookies to serve targeted ads based on your visits to the Site. Google’s ability to use and share information it collects about your visits to the Site is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use and the Google Privacy Policy. To opt-out of Google Analytics, you may disable cookies on your browser or install the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-On.

Google Tag Manager: Google Tag Manager (GTM”) is a tag management system to manage JavaScript and HTML tags used for tracking and analytics on websites. Tags are small code elements that, among other things, are used to measure traffic and visitor behavior: to understand the effect of online advertising and social channels; to set up remarketing and orientation towards target groups; and to test and optimize websites. GTM makes it easier for us to integrate and manage our tags. We use GTM on our website to include the tracking tools outlined in this section.

If you have performed deactivation, GTM takes this deactivation into account. For more information about GTM’s privacy practices can be found at https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en and terms of use at https://marketingplatform.google.com/about/analytics/tag-manager/use-policy/.

Google AdSense: We use Google AdSense for advertising purposes.

Twitter Pixel & Analytics: Twitter Pixel is a tool to target advertising content even more effectively to your needs, operated and provided by Twitter Inc. (1355 Market St 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, United States). We use Twitter Analytics for tracking and advertising purposes.

Facebook Pixel: Facebook Pixel allows Facebook to identify the visitors of our online content as a target group for displaying advertisements (known as “Facebook ads”). Accordingly, we use Facebook Pixel to display our posted Facebook ads only to Facebook users who have shown an interest in our services or who share certain factors (such as interests in certain topics or products determined on the basis of visited web pages), which we transmit to Facebook (which is known as Custom Audiences). Facebook Pixel also helps us understand the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes, by showing whether users have been redirected to our services after clicking on a Facebook ad (known as conversion, and allowing to determine on which devices a user is performing an action), in order to create so-called lookalike audiences or statistical twins (i.e. to broadcast ads to target groups that are similar to existing customers) and to obtain comprehensive statistics about the use of the website. Facebook Pixel establishes a direct connection to the Facebook servers when you visit our website. This way, the Facebook server is notified that you have visited our website and Facebook assigns this information to your personal Facebook user account.

For further information about the collection and use of data by Facebook and your privacy protection rights and options, please see the Facebook data protection policy at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/update. For specific information and details about Facebook Pixel and how it works, please visit the Facebook help section at https://www.facebook.com/business/help/651294705016616. You can disable this function as shown at https://de-de.facebook.com/business/help/1415256572060999?helpref=uf_permalink or at https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads. You must be logged into Facebook to do this.

Cloudflare Security: Cache storage Cloudflare cookies help optimize the website and maintain security.

Smartlook: Smartlook is a visitor recording tool that allows us to see Radar Sports through users’ eyes and to analyze the path followed by users. For detailed information about Smartlook's data processing practices click here and view the Smartlook Privacy Policy.

Important Information for California Residents: Your California Privacy Rights

These additional disclosures for California residents apply only to individuals who reside in California. The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”) provides additional rights to know, delete and opt out, and requires businesses collecting or disclosing personal information to provide notices and means to exercise those rights. The words used in this section have the meanings given to them in the CCPA, which may be broader than their common meaning. For example, the definition of “personal information” under the CCPA includes your name, but also more general information such as age.

Notice of Collection

Although the information we collect is described in greater detail above, the categories of personal information that we have collected – as described by the CCPA – in the past 12 months are:

  • Identifiers, including name, email address, phone number, account name, IP address, and an ID or number assigned to your account.
  • Customer records, billing and shipping address, and credit or debit card information.
  • Demographics, such as your age or gender. This category includes data that may qualify as protected classifications under other California or federal laws.
  • Commercial information, including purchases and engagement with the Services.
  • Internet activity, including your interactions with our Service.
  • Audio or visual data, including pictures or videos you post on our Service.
  • Geolocation data, including location enabled services such as WiFi and GPS.
  • Employment and education data, including information you provide when you apply for a job with us.
  • Inferences, including information about your interests, preferences and favorites.

For more information on our collection practices, including the sources we receive information from, please review the different forms of information collected through various means as described in more detail in this Policy.

We do not generally “sell” personal information as the term “sell” is traditionally understood. However, to the extent “sale” under the CCPA is interpreted to include advertising technology activities such as those disclosed in the advertising as a “sale,” we provide you the option to request that we not “sell” your personal information. We do not sell the personal information of minors known to be under the age of 16 without affirmative authorization. More information regarding our Sale of Personal Information is below.

We sell or disclose the following categories of personal information for commercial purposes: identifiers, demographic information, commercial information, internet activity, geolocation data and inferences. We use and partner with different types of entities to assist with our daily operations and manage our Service. Please review our information sharing practices as well as our Online Advertising use above, and our Use of Cookies below.

Categories of Personal Information We Disclose for Business Purposes

iRival Media may disclose the following categories of information about you or your use of the Site for business purposes (as defined by applicable law) or as required by applicable law:

Identifiers (such as name, address, email address); commercial information (such as transaction data and wager information); financial data (such as credit card information); internet or other network or device activity (such as browsing history or app usage); geolocation information; biometric information; sensory information (such as audio or visual information); professional or employment related data (when you apply for a job), education data, inference data about you; legally protected classifications (such as gender and marital status); insurance (including health insurance) information, medical information, and other information that identifies or can reasonably associated with you.

Sale of Personal Information

California residents may opt out of the “sale” of their personal information. Under the CCPA, sale is broadly defined such that it may include allowing third parties to collect or receive certain information, such as cookies, IP address, and/or browsing behavior, to deliver targeted advertising on the Services or other services. Advertising, including targeted advertising, enables us to provide you certain content for free and allows us to provide relevant offers to you.

If you would like to opt out of iRival Media’s use of your information for such purposes that are considered a “sale” under California law, you may do so by submitting a request to contact@irvialmedia.com. Please note that we do not knowingly sell the personal information of minors under 16 years of age without legally-required affirmative authorization.

Right to Know and Delete

If you are a California resident, you have the right to delete the personal information we have collected from you and the right to know certain information about our data practices in the preceding 12 months. In particular, you have the right to request the following from us:

  • The categories of personal information we have collected about you;
  • The categories of sources from which the personal information was collected;
  • The categories of personal information about you we disclosed for a business purpose or sold;
  • The categories of third parties to whom the personal information was disclosed for a business purpose or sold;
  • The business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling the personal information; and
  • The specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.

To exercise any of these rights, please submit a request through our online form or email us at contact@irvialmedia.com. In the request, please specify which right you are seeking to exercise and the scope of the request. We will confirm receipt of your request within 10 days.

We have a duty as the holder of certain personal information to verify your identity when making requests to know or delete personal information and to ensure that dissemination of that information would not cause harm to you if it were distributed to another person. To verify your identity, we will request and collect additional personal information from you to match it against our records. We may ask for additional information or documentation if we feel it is necessary to confirm your identity with the necessary degree of certainty. We may communicate with you through email, a secure message center, or other reasonably necessary and appropriate means. We do have the right to deny requests under certain circumstances. In such cases, we will notify you of the reasons for denial. We will not provide you with specific pieces of personal information if the disclosure creates a substantial, articulable, and unreasonable risk to the security of that personal information, your account with us, or the security of our systems or networks. In no event will we disclose, if we have collected it, your Social Security number, driver’s license number or other government-issued identification number, financial account number, any health insurance or medical identification number, an account password, or security questions and answers.

How to Update Your Information

Email Newsletters: Should your email address change, you may manage your subscription by unsubscribing to our newsletter and re-subscribing with your new email address.

Specialized Areas: Specialized areas of our Site that require you to register may identify, at the point of collection, the ways available for you to update your information.

Generally: At any time, you may update your information by emailing us at contact@dimers.com.

Right to Opt Out

To the extent we sell your personal information as the term “sell” is defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act, you have the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information by us to third parties at any time. You may submit a request to opt out by emailing us at contact@irvialmedia.com.

Authorized Agent

You may submit a request through a designated agent. You must instruct that agent that they will need to state that they are acting on your behalf when making the request, have reasonably necessary documentation, and be prepared to provide the necessary personal information to identify you in our database.

Right to Non-Discrimination

You have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment by us for the exercise of any of your rights.

Financial Incentives

Financial incentives are programs, benefits, or other offerings, including payments to consumers as compensation, for the disclosure, deletion, or sale of personal information about them.

We may offer discounted prices to consumers who sign up to be on our mailing lists or join, for example, our loyalty programs. Such programs will have additional terms that require your review and agreement.

Please review those terms for the details of those programs, how to withdraw or cancel, or to assert your rights specific to those programs.

We generally do not treat consumers differently if they exercise a right under California law. However, in certain circumstances, discounted prices will require you to be on our mailing list or a member of our loyalty program. In such circumstances, we may offer a price difference because the price is reasonably related to the value of your data. The value of your data will be explained in the terms of such incentivized programs.

Shine the Light

California’s “Shine the Light” law permits customers in California to request certain details about how certain types of their information are shared with third parties and, in some cases, affiliates, for those third parties’ and affiliates’ own direct marketing purposes. Under the law, a business should either provide California customers certain information upon request or permit California customers to opt out of this type of sharing.

To exercise a Shine the Light request, please contact us at contact@irvialmedia.com or 651 N Broad St, 205 #1306, Middletown, DE 19709. You must put the statement “Your California Privacy Rights” in the body of your request, as well as your name, street address, city, state, and zip code. In the body of your request, please provide enough information for us to determine if this applies to you. Please note that we will not accept inquiries via the telephone, email, or by facsimile, and we are not responsible for notices that are not labeled or sent properly, or that do not have complete information.

Notice for Nevada Residents

Under Nevada law, certain Nevada consumers may opt out of the sale of “personally identifiable information” for monetary consideration (as such terms are defined under Nevada law) to a person for that person to license or sell such information to additional persons. We do not engage in such activity; however, if you are a Nevada resident and you have purchased services from us, you may submit a request to opt out of any potential future sales under Nevada law by submitting a request to contact@dimers.com. Please note we may take reasonable steps to verify your identity and the authenticity of the request. Once verified, we will maintain your request in the event our practices change.

Safeguarding Your Personal Information

We recognize industry standards and employ security safeguards designed to protect your Personal Information from unauthorized access and misuse. We use the most accurate and current information you provide in order to process your request.
