OG Election Prediction Markets 2026: Trade Contracts on Elections

Updated: Jul 10, 2026, 8:23 AM ET

OG is a prediction market trading exchange where you can trade predictions with other customers on a range of different subjects such as sports, economics, entertainment, and financials, but what about OG election trading?

From our experience, election predictions are often some of the most popular at these types of sites, so in this guide we’ve been looking at what OG offers for this category, and how much coverage it provides for both US and global political elections. Read on to learn more - we’ll also give a brief introduction to how the site works.

Understanding How OG Works

Let’s first take a look at what OG is and how it works. This is a peer-2-peer prediction trading exchange. It offers its predictions via Crypto.com Derivatives North America, which is a CFTC-registered DCM (Designated Contract Market). Currently, it is available in 48 US states, with users in NY and AZ not being able to execute any trades. Additionally, users from NV, OH, MI, MD, MA, NJ, and IL cannot trade sports predictions.

Prediction Trading is facilitated through Crypto.com | Derivatives North America (CDNA). Foris DAX Inc. and Foris Inc. (d/b/a OG ) provide access to CDNA, a platform regulated by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), allowing users to trade derivatives in accordance with CDNA’s rules and regulations.

OG Facilitates P2P Trading of Trade Contacts for Predictions

If you sign up at OG, you will be able to buy and sell trade contracts for a range of real-world predictions from other users. Each prediction has either a single yes or no trade contract, or a series of yes/no contracts for different options you can pick.

You can buy these trade contracts, and either try to sell them if the price moves in your favor, or hold them and attempt to settle them. Settling a trade contract at OG involves waiting for the prediction to happen - if you got the prediction right, you will get a $1 return for each successful trade contract, minus any fees. However, if you got the prediction wrong, you will get no returns.

Currently, OG offers the following prediction markets:

  • Sports
  • Companies
  • Crypto
  • Financials
  • Economics
  • Culture
  • Politics

From our experience, the sports category is one of the most extensive, and you can trade predictions for sports like football, basketball, soccer, hockey, and tennis. We have noticed that the site is also expanding its other categories though, especially its politics section, which as you will see below, does contain some OG election markets.

Pros and Cons of OG

OG is one of the better prediction exchanges available. It has a sleek and modern website design and high quality apps. It also offers some of the more varied sports predictions you will find, and it has a relatively simple trading fee structure. However, we do think it could expand its non sport prediction categories as some of them are lacking a little. You can go to og.com for more information.

Does OG Offer Election Trading?

From our testing of this site, we did not find a dedicated OG election trading category, which was disappointing. Most of the top sites have a separate section for elections, but in the case of OG, they have a political trading section, which deals with things like nominees for various government positions, actions for the House and Senate, but also elections.

OG Has a Dedicated Politics Section, Which Includes Election Predictions

You can find OG election markets within the wider politics category. We checked this section out, and while the majority of the predictions looked to be related to candidate nominees, there were some specific predictions relating to the outcome of elections - both in the US and global regions. You can see some of the examples from the politics category in the below table:

Compared to other sites, this is a more limited selection, and we felt that it has more of a leaning towards the US government with things like Presidential nominees and State Governor elections. There does look to be plenty of activity and trading volume though, and we like how the individual prediction pages are displayed - you can see a graph that shows how the OG odds and prices have changed over time, and the percentages/implied probability of the different trade contract options.

Conclusion - OG Offers a Limited Selection of Election Predictions

So, there is indeed OG election trading, but we feel this is one of the less-explored/smaller categories that OG provides, and it definitely excels in other areas such as sports predictions. Nonetheless, if you use our banners and register an account with this trading exchange, you will be able to buy and sell trade contracts with other customers relating to elections taking place in the US and around the world. Trading prediction markets involves risk and you may lose your capital. Past performance or hypothetical scenarios do not guarantee future results.
