Boston have obviously had their struggles throughout the course of this season - underachieving based off of their potential quite significantly - but no matter who they're coming up against, when you offer us the Celtics with a huge points spread advantage and Jayson Tatum is in the squad, you know we're going to take it.
The Knicks are good, but our data projections thinks the spread is just far too high for this one.

We loooooove any Overs play here at Dimers, so it's only fitting that we kick off today's baseball picks with one!
The stars are aligning for a slugfest in Minnesota as the A's and Twins continue their weekend series. Oakland will have a very early opportunity to pummel the Twins, with starting Minny pitcher Kenta Maeda giving up an ERA of 5.35 and an average of 11.23 hits per 9 innings pitched. His time on the mound when starting has been limited, however, averaging a measly 4.2 innings pitched per start. If the A's strike early we'll be cashing this one well before the end of the 9th.

Two teams with some pretty potent offenses get things underway in their first-round matchup as Tampa Bay look to begin their crusade for back-to-back Stanley Cups against Florida.
In the eight times these two met during the regular season, the Over is 6-2 which seems to follow a a historical trend line. Our data projections gives this one a big chance.
