The impenetrable Joe Musgrove will be heading to the mound for the Padres this afternoon, to try and wrap up a dominant 3-game series sweep over the Cubs. Musgrove ranks 2nd in the MLB for ERA with a 1.50 mark to go along with his 7-0 win/loss record as a starter. We expect the Friars to take control early and never look back.

Phillies vs. Nationals, 7:05PM ET

Going from one of the best pitchers to one of the worst. The Nats have listed Patrick Corbin (3-8, 6.65 ERA) as their starter for their tilt against the sluggers of Philly. Corbin ranks dead last among all qualified pitchers for ERA which is a very ominous sign against a team that is averaging close to 6 runs per game over their last 10. Washington are no slouches in their own right when it comes to scoring runs, so expect this to clear double digits fairly early.

Brewers vs. Mets, 7:10PM ET

New York had their worst pitcher in last night against the Brewers, and it showed with a dismal 10-2 loss. They'll look to right the ship tonight with Tylor Megill (4-2, 4.50 ERA) on the mound, while Brewers go with Aaron Ashby (1-5, 3.91 ERA). This Mets team is too good to drop another game like last night's - especially with the advantage they'll have in the early innings.
