Yankees vs. Angels

The Yankees have dropped two games in a row to the Angels this week four in a row overall, but surely the BS is put to an end tonight by Gerrit Cole? The New York ace will be on the mound to try and arrest the slide and our projections see this as being a quintessential Cole game where runs are hard to come by.
For the Angels it'll be *checks notes* Packy Naughton on the bump. The 25-year-old will be making his starting debut after two appearances as a reliever in August against the Dodgers and Padres. In those two games, he gave up only one run from a total of 5.1 innings pitched. I Wikipedia'd his name, which is actually Patrick, but anyway, it'll be fascinating to see how his numbers hold up against the likes of Judge and Gallo.

Orioles vs. Blue Jays
BET: Blue Jays at the run line with PointsBet (-140)

Ordinarily we wouldn't take a pick like this with as much juice as what we've got here, but we can't ignore the signals that the Blue Jays look like good things to pummel the O's tonight. Matt Harvey will be pitching for Baltimore, and he has one of the worst starting records in baseball with a 6-14 win/loss record to go along with a 6.18 ERA from a very healthy sample size of 119.1 innings pitched this season. The Orioles were able to win last night, but we're expecting tonight's scoreline to read a little more similarly to Monday night's 7-3 result that went Toronto's way. The Blue Jays hitters will need to step up, though, as they've been far too reliant on Guerrero Jr.

Pirates vs. White Sox
BET: Total runs OVER 8.5 with PointsBet (-105)

Mitch Keller will be the man that we rely on to win this bet for us. The Pirates pitcher has been abysmal over his last three starts, giving up a 9.75 ERA to go along with an eye watering 16.5 hits per nine innings pitched. Carlos Rodon will be taking the ball for the White Sox, but even so, our projections have this one going over regardless.
