Our pick yesterday was doubling down on Tony Finau, who had another solid day is definitely still in the mix.

🏆 Top pick: Tony Finau - T8
💰 Value bet: Scottie Scheffler - T54

🏌️‍♂️ Round 3:
Picks and Plays

Not the best result on day 2 with two hits and a tie from our five picks (see below), so today we're gonna head back to the outright market.

Our top pick, Tony Finau is still available at 14/1 and showed huge glimpses today.

Get on 'Top Five' Tony before Moving Day starts and watch him claw his way up the leaderboard as we head to Sunday!

Picks and Plays

Another tournament, another chance to hit a big parlay on DraftKings thanks to their head-to-head matchup markets. If you're not sure of the benefits of these matchup parlays, check out this ridiculous win a bettor had recently!

We've got some top talent in the field this week as well as some value guys who have been getting in reps over the past few weeks. Our picks here are centered purely around the scores on Thursday, so we could be cashing in big before we even hit the weekend.

Check out today's parlay below and head to our how-to guide if you're keen to tail!

Tyrell Hatton (+138) to beat Dustin Johnson ✅

🏌️‍♂️ Outright winner picks

🏆  Top Pick:

Tony Finau (18/1*)

Bet $10, win $180

Tony Finau returns to action after taking a week off after finishing T11 at the ZOZO. While he doesn't win out of turn, 'Top Five' Tony will be out to get the job done this week.

LISTEN: Tail and Print - Houston Preview

Dustin Johnson is the short-priced favorite (+700) to take out the Houston Open but after a couple of weeks on the sidelines, we don't think he presents enough value, making Finau the play of the week here.

💰 Value Bet:

Scottie Scheffler (22/1*)

Bet $10, win $220

There's a lot of talent around this 22/1 mark, including Brooks Koepka but we've decided to go with the 2020 PGA Rookie of the Year.

Scheffler is yet to win on the Tour but isn't far off at all. He's won twice on the Korn Ferry, showing he knows what it takes on a Sunday.

Koepka was close to making it in to this section (he helped with the recent re-design of this course!) but I'd rather see how his body holds up this week and take a strong look at him for the Masters instead.

🔮 Hail Mary:

Adam Scott (40/1*)

Bet $10, win $400

Another who will have his eyes on the Masters, Aussie Adam Scott had his first win in four years back in February before taking an extended break through the COVID lay-off. He's played in just four tournaments since the return to play back in June, showing glimpses of his best.

Although not quite at the odds of previous Hail Mary picks, Scott is overs at 40/1 in this field and will be doing everything he can to hit form for next week.

Hail Mary record:

Luke Donald @ Bermuda - T40
Jordan Spieth @ ZOZO - T41
Cameron Smith @ CJ Cup - 11th
Harold Varner III @ Shriners - 13th
Kristoffer Ventura @ Sanderson Farms - T6

As you can see, our Hail Mary picks have been pumping out great results and should always be played for top-20 and top-10 finishes, as well as sprinkling some pizza money on them to win outright!
