Dodgers vs. Giants
BEST BET: Dodgers -1.5 with PointsBet
After splitting the series so far, both teams enter the third and final game of the weekend with an identical 86-50 record, but you could argue that Los Angeles are in far better shape than their Californian counterparts.
The Giants are simply getting by on a nightly basis as they manage a small crisis within their pitching ranks. Anthony DeSclafani is back from his injury layoff, but was on the mound on Friday. Alex Wood has COVID, Johnny Cueto has an elbow strain while Kevin Gausman and Logan Webb tossed earlier this week and will not be available. That means we're likely to see a heavy rotation through tonight's game with relievers trying to get the job done against one of the league's powerhouses in the Dodgers.
LA will be bringing out the big guns, sending Walker Buehler to the bump. The ace has a 2.05 ERA and an imposing 13-2 starting record.
We've been big fans of what San Francisco have been able to achieve this season and we think that they'll give the Dodgers a challenge in playoffs as the two teams have emerged as the clear frontrunners in the NL, but it's just not lining up for the Giants tonight.
BEST PROP: Trae Turner to hit a home run with PointsBet
The lead off man for the Dodgers has been ever reliable in recent times, registering at least one hit in each of his last ten games. He was rewarded for the consistent form last night when he went yard and we like him to do it again tonight against the slew of bullpen pitchers that the Giants will be trotting out.
