One of the best battles of the weekend wraps up tonight as the LA Dodgers look to make it a three-game clean sweep of the New York Mets at Citi Field in prime time. But while the Dodgers are 2-0 on the weekend so far, this series has been anything but lopsided.

Pair the schorcing form of Scherzer with New York's biggest problem from the weekend: run support from the Mets' offense, and it's a possible recipe for disaster for NY who will be putting out Carlos Carrasco for his fourth start of the year. Carrasco has found the going tough and will still be reeling from being pulled after just one inning in his last start against the Nationals last week.
If the Mets already had issues scoring this weekend, and they're throwing in a pitcher who is vulnerable, things could get ugly.

Despite the two wins to their name over the Mets on Friday and Saturday, bombs have been hard to come by for the Dodgers this weekend with just two homers for the series, both hit by Will Smith. So we figure the sluggers are due here tonight.
One player we're zoning in on is AJ Pollock. He's 0 for 9 throughout this series so far, but prior to that, he was batting at a very impressive .500 AVG over his previous four games against the Phillies and Angels. With the favorable pitching matchup, there's a real opportunity for Pollock to get his eye back in.
