Sports Bettor Needs Celtics to Win the NBA Title for a $70K Parlay Payout

While the NBA season is far from over, one bettor just needs the Boston Celtics to take home the NBA Championship to win $70,537.50 on a $75 bet. The potential winning ticket is a three-leg parlay, and includes PGA Tour star Will Zalatoris to win a tournament, Patrick Mahomes to win NFL MVP and will end up spanning over 10 months before it is deemed a hit or a miss. The bet was placed with BetMGM Sportsbook, and the bettor only has one leg remaining - the Celtics to win the NBA Title.

Three-Leg Parlay Close to Cashing $70K

One bettor stands to win over $70,000 on just a $75 bet at MGM Sportsbook, if the Boston Celtics can seal the deal in the postseason by winning the NBA Finals. Twitter user @billybeans3, aka "Mr. Beans", placed the ticket prior to the 2022 FedEx St. Jude Championship last August. Shortly after, Will Zalatoris took home the grand prize, meaning the first leg had cashed.

Huge Parlay Bet for $70,000

Next up, Mr. Beans' fate rested in the trustworthy hands of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. At +800 odds, Mahomes was one of many NFL players considered one of the betting "favorites" to win the NFL MVP award before the season started. Ultimately, Mahomes delivered, which now gives Mr. Beans with just the Celtics to capture the NBA championship.

Parlay big win if Boston Celtics can win NBA title

The Celtics are currently the betting favorite at +100 odds to win it all, and our DimersBOT gives them the highest probability to make amends for their Finals defeat last year, at a whopping 49.2% probability to win the title.

If they can get it done, Mr. Beans will have earned himself one heck of a winning parlay ticket.
