PGA TOUR: John Deere Classic Matchups Parlay 2023

Another big-time week of the PGA TOUR is here, with the fan favorite John Deere Classic set to go down at TPC Deere Run - Silvis, IL, this weekend. Although most of the big names are taking a week off, golf fans all over the country are still looking to take in the action and win a bet or two. With that in mind, we have again used our powerful head-to-head matchups tool to build a matchups parlay at odds of +1427. This golf parlay has been built thanks to our predictive analytics model and the odds on offer at DraftKings Sportsbook.

DimersBOT's favorites to win the John Deere Classic this week are Denny McCarthy and Russell Henley, with each rated as having more than twice the win probability of the third best chance in Eric Cole.

Memorial Tournament Matchups Parlay for 2023

Our parlay for the 2023 Memorial Tournament has landed, with four legs totalling odds of +1427 with DraftKings. We also recommend placing a round robin bet on this, giving you a nice payout if only two or three of the legs end up winning.

Leg 1: Doug Ghim (+100)

Our first leg for this week sees Doug Ghim paired up against young gun Ludvig Aberg who had a poor weekend at last week's Rocket Mortgage Classic.

Ghim has now made five straight cuts, with three top-20 finishes in that run. DimersBOT rates him as a 25.7% chance of another top-20, and a massive 61.6% chance of finishing the week in a better position than Aberg.

At odds of +100, that means we are getting an 11.6% edge on the sportsbooks to kick off this week's parlay.

Leg 2: Eric Cole (+100)

The second leg of our John Deere Classic parlay is for Eric Cole to out-perform Adam Schenk across the course of the week.

Schenk has been one of the most inconstent players on the TOUR of late, with his last 12 events seeing him miss the cut seven times, with three of the other five tournaments resulting in top-10 finishes.

Cole on the other hand has made seven of this last nine cuts, with top-10 finishes at the Canadian Open and Mexico Open.

As for this week, Cole is projected as having a 50.4% chance of winning this matchup, with Schenk down at 44.5% and the tie (push) at 5.1%

Leg 3: Denny McCarthy (-120)

Next up we have a matchup between the two favorites to win the John Deere Classic, in Denny McCarthy and Russell Henley.

Although these two are the best chances to win this week, we are leaning towards Denny McCarthy, who DimersBOT has a 48.8% chance in the matchup compared to 46.2% for Henley. It's tight, but we are backing the model!

McCarthy has only missed the cut four times in 23 events this season, with finishes of 2nd at Memorial, T4 at Pebble Beach and T7 at last week's Travelers amongst the highlights.

Leg 4: Adam Hadwin (+100)

Our fourth and final leg this week is for Adam Hadwin to win his matchup against Cameron Young.

After an incredibly impressive end to 2022, Young has now failed to finish in the top-30 in his last seven events, Hadwin has had two runner-up finishes in his last eight, including the playoff lost to Rickie Fowler last Sunday.

Our model rates Hadwin as a 51.2% chance in this matchup, with Young at 43.6% and the tie at a 5.1% probability of occuring.
