NFL 2021 - Week 1 Betting Trends: Underdogs and the Under dominate Week 1 NFL bettingSep 14, 2021 at 5:56AM
Welcome to the first week of our new feature, where we highlight some of the top betting trends identified across the NFL in Week 1 of the 2021 season.
It all kicked off with an awesome Thursday Night Football clash between the Cowboys and the Bucs before we got an action-packed Sunday and an early contender for game of the season on Monday Night Football.
But in addition to sitting on the couch and watching about 20 hours of football, this weekend also saw us able to bet on the NFL once again, with a couple of trends in particular standing out.
Caesars Sportsbook is great to use for betting and they also have the best new customer offer going around, as you can see below!
Underdogs were 11-4 against the spread in NFL Week 1
Underdogs covered with ease across the board in Week 1, with the biggest cover coming from the Saints (+3.5), who covered by 38.5 points when they took down the Packers 38-3.
