Heat vs. Mavericks, Tue Nov 2, 7:00pm (EDT)

PICK: Luka Doncic UNDER 25.5 points (-106)

PROJECTION: 25 points

The sportsbooks have adjusted the lines on Doncic who had a tough start on offense to start the season. The Slovenian averages just 22.5 points on the year so far, in a stuttering Mavericks offense that ranks third-worst in the league for points. This Miami team just so happen to rank first for opponent points allowed per game, so expect the focus of their defensive efforts to go towards shutting down Doncic, who still may not have his right-hand man, Kristaps Porzingis, on the court with him to deflect attention away.

Kings vs. Jazz, Tue Nov 2, 9pm (EDT)

PICK: Donovan Mitchell OVER 27.5 points (-104)

PROJECTION: 33 points

Our data projection model LOVES this spot for Mitchell, projecting five more points on the Jazz guard than the sportsbooks have set. It appears as though Mitchell has hit some form, notching games of 30 and 28 points in his last two games against some good teams in the Bulls and Bucks. He steps down in class against the Kings but should keep things rolling with another game of 30+.

Rockets vs. Lakers, Tue Nov 2, 10:00pm (EDT)

PICK: LeBron James OVER 6.5 assists (+112)

PROJECTION: 8 assists

Some crazy plus money is on offer for the King to do exactly what he has done twice since returning from a short injury layoff: get 7 assists or more. 

James hit this mark in his return game against the Cavs with 8 and then again against this very Rockets team with another 8 on Sunday night. The Lakers are still working out the kinks and haven't really blown out teams this year, meaning around 35+ minutes of floor time can be expected of the Lakers point forward.
