NBA Finals 2020 Los Angeles Lakers vs. Miami Heat Game Five: Predictions, picks and bets

Predictions based on 10,000+ simulations

The Lakers bounced back on Tuesday night and now find themselves leading the Finals 3-1 with an extended break leading into this game.

Only one team has ever come back from a 3-1 deficit in the Finals and that team of course had one LeBron James on the right side of the result.

LeBron is the man with the lead this time and even with the fight of Jimmy Butler and co. for the Heat, it looks incredibly likely that the Larry O’Brien trophy will be heading to LA.

As you’ll see in our NBA Bet Hub predictions, we’ve got this one going down to the wire again.

Who will cover?

Our model is with Miami at the spread here. They left it late last game but expect them to do enough to at least cover again - although anything less than a win will mean their season is over and LeBron and the Lakers will be crowned Champions.

Who will win H2H?

While the Lakers are heavy favorites to win again, it doesn't necessarily mean they're a good bet - it all depends on the odds available. The suggested play below is a real time update of probabilities vs. odds, so the dog is often the recommended bet due to an edge our model has identified.

Over or Under?

The O/U has been slashed down for this one after two consecutive games stayed Under. At the time of writing our model is actually favoring the Under ever so slightly in Game Five, but keep an eye on the real time play below.

🏀 Dimers' take-out
