2020/21 NBA MVP Preview and Predictions
⭐ Star Player: Nikola Jokic
This could've very easily been Jamal Murray, but simply put, a player like Jokic is a genuine unicorn and would be the star player on most teams in the NBA. He is the best passing big man we've maybe ever seen and he gets going is impossible to stop in the paint.
He keeps getting better every season that he plays in the league and if that continues, he could find himself as a consensus top five player in the league come the end of 2021.
🧨 X-Factor: Michael Porter Jr.
The 14th pick in the 2018 draft, MPJ is one of the most naturally gifted scorers in the whole NBA and could prove the difference if the Nuggets are in a competitive playoff series come the postseason.
No one has ever doubted this dude's talent and now that he seems to be putting his injury troubles behind him, a place in the starting five beckons in what could be the season he shoots himself to superstardom.

🚀 Why they can win the Championship:
Experience from last season
The Nuggets twice back from 3-1 down in the bubble playoffs, including against a highly-fancied Clippers team that was headlined by Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. These series', coupled with a competitive loss to the Lakers in the conference finals will hold Denver in good stead when the playoffs roll around again this season. With Murray and Jokic approaching their prime and Michael Porter Jr. set to increase his minutes and role, the Nuggets are a serious chance of going all the way this season.

🙅♂️ Why they can’t win the Championship:
LeBron and AD
Simply put, the one thing that may stop the Nuggets is the same thing that stopped them last season: the Los Angeles Lakers. As good as Jokic, Murray and potentially Porter Jr. could be this season, it's likely not going to quite match up with the star power of the LeBron and AD still. And with the Lakers adding the top two players from last season's 6th Man of the Year award, most experts believe the champs are even stronger this season.

🔮 Dimers' season predictions:
43-29 (4th in West)
Our predictive analytics model has been running the numbers and has returned with the Nuggets holding the fourth highest projected wins in the West (behind the two LA teams and Dallas). This record would be slightly worse than last season's but with so many other teams improving, this is understandable. The Nuggets though will be out to top the West, with eyes on the big dance for 2021.
