Brewers vs. Reds, 6:40PM ET

The Reds were really, really good last night as they beat the Brewers soundly, blasting 10 runs to 5. While they now have some momentum having won 3 of their last 4, one thing remains consistent: they are bleeding runs. They're still 30th in the league for opponent runs per game. While we expect Milwaukee to bounce back against a bad defense, this pitcher's duel does feel like a race to the bottom with Hunter Greene (1-4, 8.71 ERA) on the mound for the Reds, while the Brewers will counter with Freddy Peralta (1-1, 5.09 ERA). We're taking the over.

Astros vs. Twins, 7:40PM ET

Two of the best defensive teams in the league meet in Minnesota for this midweek series where the formlines should ring true. The Astros have put together one of the most stifling weeks of the season, giving up an average of just 1.4 runs per game in their last 9 while the Twins are just as suffocating, ranking third in the league for opponent runs given up per game with an average of 3.25.

Guardians vs. White Sox, 8:10PM ET

These two opened up their series last night with one of the games of the season so far as Cleveland made up 6 runs at the top of the 9th inning to force the game into extras, eventually pulling out a 13-9 win. This Guardians team - who were +10000 at the start of the season to win the World Series - has heart. Not saying they're going to win the WS, but they are a lot better than what they're given credit for, and last night's game is enough for us to think they're going to stick close with Chicago tonight.
