The long awaited return of Max Scherzer is finally here with the Mets ace coming back into the fold after spending several weeks on the sidelines with injury. Bettors shouldn't be worried about any rust of the immense talent with Scherzer making multiple appearances in the minors to tune up ahead of this game tonight. New York will look to build on their 7-4 victory yesterday in which every batter registered at least one hit.

Angels vs. Marlins, 6:40PM ET

LA have found scoring tough late, averaging just 2.45 runs per game over their last 5 games.

Good time to get Sandy Alcantara (8-3, 1.95 ERA), right?

It's clear that this is looking like it'll be another wasted season for the Angels whose roster thins out once they get past the generational talent they have at the top of the order. Expect another tough night at the office with the scoring expected to be down.

Nationals vs. Phillies, 7:05PM ET

One of the most potent offenses in the league will have a chance to put it on show tonight with the Phillies finding themselves in a perfect spot against the Nats. Washington starting pitcher Paolo Espino (0-1, 2.80 ERA) will make his 5th start of the year after starting the season in the bullpen, but his numbers as a starter have been far less impressive so far. He's given up 4 home runs in his last 3 starts, a number that won't bode well for the Nationals with the Phillies ranked 6th in the MLB for total home runs scored in 2022.
