Despite the clubhouse tantrum, his form in the minors wasn't too bad, with a 2.38 ERA over 11 innings from 4 starts, but just how will he go upon his return to the Majors for a meeting with the Rays and Corey Kluber (4-5, 3.62 ERA)? Kluber's last start was on July 6 against this very Sox team in which he was dominant, not giving up a run in 6 innings pitched. He finds himself with a perfect chance to consolidate that performance - we expect a victory for Tampa Bay on their home turf.

Mets vs. Braves, 7:20PM ET

BET: Braves moneyline (-162)

New York were able to claim the opening series win last night over the Braves in Atlanta, but if I was the reigning world champions, I wouldn't be worried about it. It was a tale of the starting pitchers last night with a heroic game from Max Scherzer and a miserable game from Max Fried who walked as many batters last night as he did in the entire month of June. Tonight the Braves should have the edge with Spencer Strider (4-2, 2.60 ERA, 0.97 WHIP) up against David Peterson (5-1, 3.48 ERA, 1.27 WHIP). Expect another tight, edgy affair, but one where the Braves hitters will have a better chance of flexing their muscle than they did against Scherzer.

Athletics vs. Rangers, 8:05PM ET

BET: Total runs OVER 8.5 (-118)

We cashed the over bet between these two last night as the A's and Rangers combined for 18 runs, and honestly, we might run this bet back every night of this midweek series. As we outlined yesterday, both teams rank in the bottom 10 of the MLB for run defense, and once again, they're going to tempt us with some wayward pitchers with Glenn Otto (4-5, 5.26 ERA) against James Kaprielian (1-5, 5.06 ERA) to start things off. How can you possibly make a case for the under?!
