With Brad Keller (5-12, 4.61 ERA) on the mound, the Red Sox should get enough chances to slug this afternoon and that might just be the lighter fluid new Boston recruit Tommy Pham needs to ignite. Pham, the former Red, has had a nice start to life in Beantown, registering hits in three of his first five games. Keller is coming off a bad start last time out against the White Sox where he gave up an astonishing 13 hits. Pham is well postioned.

While tonight is no exception with Yu Darvish starting on the hill for the Padres, he has been susceptible this year to giving up home runs - including two of them in his last start against the Rockies. Freddie Freeman has had the most joy against Darvish of all the Dodgers hitters, previously taking him yard twice in his career. Freeman has been on something of a drought over the past two weeks - this is a great matchup for him to break it.
