Both teams are assured of playoffs action and can’t do too much jockeying with today’s game.

On the mound for the Yankees will be Clarke Schmidt who will be making his first career start. Schmidt does have a promising future and is rated highly by the Yanks, but our predictive model sees Miami taking advantage of inexperience in this one. The Marlins with the added security of +1.5 runs looks like a good bet at some nice odds.

Orioles @ Blue Jays
OVER/UNDER: u10.5 runs (-110*) has a 53% probability

The Blue Jays currently hold the 8^th seed in the American League and continue their series against a disappointing Baltimore team today.

The A’s will be heading to the postseason while the Mariners will be playing out time on Sunday.

The sportsbooks have this one relatively evenly matched on the moneyline odds, but the public sentiment is that Oakland are good to win today, and so does our predictive analysis. The odds of -122 for a team that have a far superior record is too good to pass up.
