The Blue Jays and Tigers have shared the spoils so far this weekend with one game each as we head to a series decider today in Detroit with the Tigers putting out their No. 1 pitcher Tarik Skubal (5-2, 2.33 ERA) to start. Detroit have won 4 of their last 4 games when their ace starts and it's not by coincidence - Skubal is a miserly pitcher who doesn't give up much and gives his hitters something to work with. The win last night will give them confidence to pull off another upset against Toronto.

Marlins vs. Astros, 2:10PM ET

These are two teams who don't give up a lot of runs, ranking 11th and 3rd respectively for run defense and we're expecting that to be on show today. The Astros will send Justin Verlander (7-2, 2.14 ERA) to the mound, pitting him against Edward Cabrera (2-0, 0.75 ERA) for the Marlins. After a three-game slide, the Astros will be looking to get back to the defensive basics and shut things down.

Rockies vs. Padres, 4:10PM ET

I've got two words for this game: BLAST OFF.

Germán Márquez (2-5, 6.49 ERA) will start off on the hill for the Rockies. He's been one of the worst pitchers in the league, giving up the second most runs to the opposition in MLB. The Padres will have a chance to make the most of Márquez, but they'll have their own issues defending runs with Blake Snell (0-3, 5.68 ERA) still struggling to find a rhythm since his return to the big leagues. The over here feels like the best bet of the day.
