Brewers vs. Red Sox, 4:10PM ET

Boston continued their rough patch with yet another loss last night, this time at the hands of Milwaukee, who opened up their weekend visit to Massachusetts with a W. It's hard to see when this malaise will end for the Red Sox, and they'll be dealt another tough hand this afternoon with Eric Lauer (6-3, 3.84 ERA) a seriously impressive starting ace for the Brewers. The moneyline odds are too juicy for Milwaukee against an out-of-form ball club.

Twins vs. Padres, 7:15PM ET

The Padres had their hitting power on show last night in their demolition job of the Twins to open things up for the weekend. Despite the obvious form of the San Diego hitters, the 'books think the pitchers will rule tonight with Joe Musgrove (8-3, 2.63 ERA) up against Sonny Gray (5-3, 3.52 ERA). Musgrove has been a little wayward recently, though, giving up 20 ER in his last 6 starts. This low total is one you should be attacking.

Dodgers vs. Rockies, 8:10PM ET

On the surface, it might look a little strange that this total is set at 11 and that Clayton Kershaw (7-2, 2.49 ERA) is on the mound for the Dodgers - but let's dig a little deeper. Kershaw's record isn't great at Coors Field. He has a career ERA of 4.81 from 25 games, including one game already this season on June 28 when he gave up 6 ER from 4 innings. The Rockies will hold no fear heading into this one and should combine with the LA hitters for a healthy total.
