Rockies vs. Pirates, 6:35PM ET

Despite the lopsided advantage in the starting pitcher's duel, the Rockies will go into their midweek series opener against the Pirates as the road dog - a position we love. JT Brubaker (0-4, 5.50 ERA) has yet to get a win on the mound for Pittsburgh this season, and he's giving up runs, including 6 earned runs from 5 innings against the Cubs in his last start on May 17. This Pirates defense is bad - ranking second last in the league, and while the Rockies aren't much better, ranking third-last, they do have an offense that can keep up and score runs at will.

Blue Jays vs. Cardinals, 7:45PM ET

The Cardinals beat up on the Pirates over the weekend with three comprehensive victories. We know it's just the Pirates, but taking care of business against those teams is what you need to do, and St. Louis are flying under the radar as a good team this year. They're an elite offensive unit, as well as a top 10 defense in the league. With the home field advantage, they once again look good to get a dub against the Jays.

Royals vs. Diamondbacks, 9:40PM ET

The ghost himself, Zach Davies, will be on the bump for the DBacks, and while the win/loss records could not be more different for Kansas City and Arizona, we like the Royals to open up this series with a win. Zack Greinke (0-2, 3.48 ERA) has yet to register an official win in Royals colors this year, but his last three starts still resulted in KC wins, thanks to their immense run offense providing support. Davies has been up and down throughout his 8 starts in 2022, giving up runs in all but 1 game. Kansas City have a great opportunity.
