Free MLB Picks for Monday June 27, 2022

Red Sox vs. Blue Jays, 7:07PM ET

Don't look now, but Boston are making their move. The Sox have put together a nice little run, on a 7-game winning streak and won't be daunted by the trip to Toronto to face Kevin Gausman to open up their midweek series up north. The Blue Jays ace hasn't had too much luck as of late with the Jays losing in each of the last four games where he's started. The Red Sox are underdogs due to the fact that they're calling up prospect Connor Seabold from the minors, but his Triple-A form (5-1, 2.09 ERA) gives us enough confidence that this one will be a close game.

Twins vs. Guardians, 7:10PM ET

It's been a weekend to forget for the Guardians who reached the top of the AL Central standings only to lose four consecutive games and find themselves two games back behind the Twins. They'll have a chance to claw those games back with a return series against Minnesota starting tonight with a rematch between Triston McKenzie (4-5, 3.51 ERA) and Sonny Gray (3-1, 2.53 ERA) to kick things off. The Guardians won 11-10 last Wednesday but we're not expecting that uncharacteristically high scoring game to repeat for these two pitchers, with our projections liking the under.

Dodgers vs. Rockies, 8:40PM ET

The only thing the Rockies have got going for them in this one is that the Dodgers will be on a late night cross-country flight from Atlanta in preparation for this midweek series where all the signs are pointing to an LA domination. For Game 1 in particular, the undefeated Tyler Anderson (8-0, 3.00 ERA) will be on the mound for the Dodgers while Chad Kuhl (4-5, 3.95 ERA) and the 30th ranked run defense in the land in Colorado will be tasked with limiting the LA hitters. Hard to see anything but a bloodbath here.
