Mets vs. Marlins, 6:40PM ET

LEG 1: Brandon Nimmo 1+ HR (+870) with DraftKings

Nimmo got his season off to a sweet start yesterday, tallying an RBI and a run of his own from four plate appearances against the Marlins. He faces off against Jesús Luzardo on the mound in the second game of the opening series tonight, a pitcher he has had some great history with, with a .400 career batting avg. Nimmo is a constant sneaky home run threat who is coming off one of the best performed years of his career. The value looks good.

White Sox vs. Astros, 8:10PM ET

LEG 2: Jeremy Pena 1+ HR (+600) with DraftKings

The reigning World Series champs didn't really fire too much of a shot on Opening Day with just four players in the lineup recording even just a hit as the Astros went down to Chicago. We're not expecting the small day one blip to be an issue for the fourth-best home run hitting team of 2022, though, with our model taking a liking to Jeremy Pena to be one of the men to get Houston off and away. Pena was one of the Astros most consistent performers during Spring Training, and will be looking to build upon a strong rookie campaign where he hit 22 home runs.
