Maybe it's because I have Luka Doncic in my fantasy team this year, but I feel like a jaded lover who goes back to their unfaithful ex, thinking things will be different this time. Unfortunately the Mavs have started slow out of the gates again, with some pretty uninspiring and unspectacular play through five games where they find themselves with the worst offense in the league, putting up a pitiful 97 points per game. The total is exceptionally high for a team in that much of an offensive slump; especially when there has been a trend already this year of low game totals as players adjust to some of the new fouling rules (Doncic was one of the biggest beneficiaries from the old rules). This one between the Kings and Mavericks is going Under.

Blazers vs. Hornets, 7PM (EDT)

BET: Total points OVER 230.5 (Best odds -110)

Two teams who have had no such problems putting the ball in the hole are the Trail Blazers and Hornets who both possess fast paced offenses that rank in the top 6 of the league. Charlotte, in particular, have been on a tear with their league-best run and gun offense producing an average of 117.5 points per game. Unfortunately, their defense is abysmal, conceding 115.7 points the other way. Watch for Dame to light things up in what should be a really fun game.

Jazz vs. Bucks, 7PM (EDT)

BET: Jazz at the moneyline (Best odds -110)

The Jazz are on the road and licking their wounds after experiencing their first defeat of the year last night at the hands of the Bulls. Chicago have been rolling, so it shouldn't come as too much of a worry to this Utah team who will be meeting the defending champion Bucks who have some concerns after dropping their past two games to the Wolves and Spurs. Those teams aren't great and the response to those blips will be interesting. Our data has the Jazz prevailing over the Bucks in a close one.
