Chelsea vs. West Ham - Pick of the Day

Life without a Russian Oligarch backing you ain't so great, is it Chelsea? In five games so far, the Londoners have sven points with a -2 goal differential and just managed to lose to a hapless Southampton side, who I doubt had any expectation of taking points from that match. Great viewing for everyone who wants to watch the demise of Chelsea, but not so good for the club.

Unfortunately, West Ham aren’t a team I want to root for either. Not only did they take points from my beloved Spurs in the midweek, but the bubble blowers are a consistent source of gambling frustration for me as they can't seem to figure out whether they want to be good or not.

So, rather than get into a team total here, let’s keep things simple and go with both teams to score. Neither defense has been particularly impressive (14 conceded combined) and the offenses, while a bit rusty, have the quality to make a dent. I’d prefer to watch both of these teams lose on any given week, but here I can hope for a 1-1 draw and live with some extra money in my pocket and dropped points by both, if that’s the case. Look for both teams to find the net once (but hopefully not more, we don't want them building any confidence).
