Memphis Grizzlies vs. Indiana Pacers, 7:00PM ET

Despite Indiana heading into the weekend with injury troubles, they were able to put in a respectable performance last night against the Hawks, going down to a buzzer beater in a game they really should have won after leading late in the game. While that performance might be a morale boost to a team that is missing its main playmaker Tyrese Haliburton - as well as big man Myles Turner who is doubtful for tonight's game due to back spasms - coming up against the Grizzlies on the second night of a back-to-back is just about the toughest assignment in the NBA.

Memphis are playing out-of-this-world basketball right now, rolling along on a 8-game winning streak. Even though the opponents put in front of them during this streak were mostly teams with sub .500 records, the offense has been a highlight, scoring at over 126 points per game over the past two weeks.

The Pacers were honorable last night, but with the outs they have, it's just too hard to see anything but a dominant Grizzlies win.

Boston Celtics vs. Charlotte Hornets, 7:00PM ET

The Celtics head to Charlotte to take on one of the worst teams in the league, down one of their best players in Jaylen Brown - but will it really matter? The omission of Brown through injury should do nothing to stop this Celtics team who will now handover a heavier offensive load to Jayson Tatum to thrive. Tatum has notched 30+ point games in three of the last four games he's played without Brown in the team. The only game he didn't score 30 was against the Nets on Thursday - a game Boston won by 11 points.

For the Hornets, it's clear that the're tanking for Wenbamyama with just two wins in their last ten outings, including multiple double-digit losses. This is a case of two teams going in completely different directions.

Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Minnesota Timberwolves, 8:00PM ET

Are the much-maligned Timberwolves on a roll? It seems like it. After a dismantling of the undermanned Suns last night, that's now five wins from their last six games and things look like they're starting to click into gear. They'll host the 27-16 Cavaliers who have had some mixed fortunes on the road this season, going 9-12. The Wolves came away with the W when these two teams met earlier in the season in a game that was missing star Cavs guard Donovan Mitchell. Mitchell certainly changes things for Cleveland, but with the form that Minnesota are in, expect this to go down to the wire.
