Red Sox vs. Nationals

BET: Red Sox at the run line with Caesars (-125)

Boston have the easiest and clearest path to the AL Wild Card game next week. A win today and there's no doubt, but a loss could find themselves in a possible four-way playoff to even get into the Wild Card game. The Nationals have done the Sox a favor by putting out Joan Adon on the mound for this MLB debut. With Chris Sale on the bump for the Red Sox, there really isn't any excuses here.

Angels vs. Mariners

BET: Total runs OVER 7 with Caesars (-120)

The Mariners are in with a shot of postseason baseball, but a lot would have to go right. They can start by taking advantage of the awful Angels defense. Los Angeles did eventually improve on their leakiness that saw them languishing in the bottom one or two defenses throughout the season, but they do still concede a lot of runs. We're expecting Seattle to put the foot on the throat of Angels pitcher Reid Detmers who has a 7.11 ERA through four starts this year. It will also be the last time we get to see Shohei Ohtani this year with the likely AL MVP surely looking to put on a show if he suits up.

Athletics vs. Astros

BET: Athletics at the run line with Caesars (-125)

The A's will finish up their season today while the Astros will move on, but Oakland will still be putting out a competitive unit for their swansong with Cole Irvin on the mound. Irvin has been up and down this season but has claimed some big scaps. We've got them keeping things close in Houston.
