Twins vs. Rays

On paper this looks to be one of the worst starting pitcher matchups in MLB history. Randy Dobnak of the Twins (1-6 record, 7.83 ERA) and the Rays' Michael Wacha (2-4, 5.70) will slug it out for the right to claim they are less awful than the other when Minnesota and Tampa Bay kick things off for their weekend series tonight.
The Rays were shut out by the Red Sox last night, but if they can't manage to get on the scoreboard against Dobnak, who gives up 12.37 hits per game, we'll be scratching our heads. This one calls for some heavy scoring on both sides.

Tigers vs. Reds
BET: Total runs UNDER 9.5 with PointsBet (-115)

The run total is set a touch too high for our liking for this one given the struggles that the Tigers have had on offense as of late. Over their last ten, Detroit are only putting up an average of 2.84 runs per game. While the Reds have been a little better over the same time period with 4.09 per game, they are finding things tough against left-handers, going for a 3.67 run per game clip. Joey Votto and his men could put the Tigers to the sword, but we doubt there will be enough runs here to worry Under bettors.

Athletics vs. Blue Jays
BET: Athletics as the moneyline with PointsBet (+136)

I spent a lot of my week watching the Blue Jays take on the Orioles due to the immense form Vladdy was in and a few small wagers I may have had on him to homer, but I have to say, Guerrero Jr. aside, I wasn't too impressed with what I saw from Toronto. They won two games out of the three-game series, but they weren't very clinical and were reliant on their star slugger to power them for the most part. With Sean Manaea on the bump for the A's, this is a serious danger game. At plus money, Oakland deserved to be considered.
