Cardinals vs. Pirates

The runs were flowing in last night's weekend series opener but we're expecting a much more subdued score total as the two teams meet again in Pittsburgh.
Although we've only got a small sample of both J.A Happ and Dillon Peters who have only had six starts on the bump between them, they've both been highly economical with a 1.99 and 1.86 ERA respectively. With Pittsburgh already ranking dead last in the league for run offense with 3.73 runs per game, the Under looks like the best play in this one.

Reds vs. Marlins

Wade Miley is one of the most imposing pitchers in the league going by numbers with a 10-4 starting record and a 2.88 ERA for the Reds so far this season. But one of the most staggering facts about Miley is that his bullpen is badly letting him down with 15 of the 22 games he's started in going Over the run total. In their last three games, Cincinnati's bullpen is on an 8.55 ERA. If the Marlins can simply make Miley throw a lot of pitches early, this will open wide up once the relievers get sent in.
Oh yeah, that's not even mentioning that the Reds are no slackers on offense - averaging 5.19 runs per game over their last ten. This looks juicy.

Cubs vs. White Sox
BET: Cubs at the run line with PointsBet (+102)

The Windy City Showdown gets underway once again with the crosstown rivals go head-to-head for a weekend series and we've got the Cubbies making a fist of it to start things off. The Cubs have been better in recent times, winning four of their last eight games. They'll be confident with Keegan Thompson taking to the mound who has some nice numbers with a 3-3 record to go along with a 2.24 ERA.
There's a real opportunity for Chicago to attack the White Sox and their pitcher Dallas Keuchel. The Sox ace has been good this season in terms of his record, but he is costly, giving up 9.22 hits per nine innings pitched and a 4.71 ERA which technically makes him their worst starter. Don't be surprised if there's an upset here.
