Twins vs. Yankees
BET: Twins at the moneyline with PointsBet (+205)
📈 8.2% edge on the sportsbooks' odds
Yep, we're taking on the Yankees, at home, on a seven game winning streak. It may seem crazy, and we might be getting a little ahead of ourselves after cashing our D-Backs moneyline play in yesterday's article, but there is a case to be made that the streak ends in the Bronx tonight.
Even though Charlie Barnes is still searching for his first starting win for the Twins this season, he gets a favorable pitching matchup (about as favorable as you can get with New York right now) with Nestor Cortes Jr. taking to the mound for the Yanks. Cortes has featured during this winning run, but he's also one of only two pitchers who have suffered a loss for New York over the last 11 days.
But here's the shocking stat: the Twins are averaging 9 runs per game against left-handed pitching over their last five games. Guess what hand Cortes throws with?
On the other side, Barnes is also a leftie and the Yankees, who have only faced a left-handed starter once during this winning streak (Jose Suarez in a 2-1 win against the Angels), average just 3.60 runs per game when batting against lefties.
There's a case here for the Twins, and the odds are way off. Streaks end and this is a good chance to happen.

Marlins vs. Reds
BET: Marlins at the run line with PointsBet (-120)
📈 56% probability
We expected that the Reds hitters would unleash last night and we were not let down when the Reds put six on the Marlins in their weekend series opener. Tonight though, Sonny Gray will be taking on pitching duties for Cinci and he's been giving up runs. Over his last five starts, the Red ace has given up 18 runs from his last 23 innings pitched and is sitting on a season ERA of 4.47.
The challenge for Miami will be keeping Votto and Castellanos in check. If they can do that, they'll have a chance to score more than their single run last night and keep it tight for a run line cover.

Diamondbacks vs. Rockies
BET: Diamondbacks at the run line with PointsBet (-115)
📈 55.6% probability
If your friend had've told you a week ago that the D-Backs vs. Rockies on a Friday night would be must-watch baseball, you would have called up the local hospital and told them that your friend needs to be sent a some kind asylum and locked up. BUT IT'S TRUE!
Arizona and Colorado are both in hot form. The Diamondbacks are coming off a 6-1 home stand while the Rockies just swept the Padres with Tatis Jr in the squad. For the general baseball fan, it's going to be exciting to see what happens, but over here at Dimers we simply cannot ignore the Arizona run line here with Tyler Gilbert returning to the mound after a starting-debut no-hitter in his last outing, also against San Diego.
