For the two teams, this is the third and final game of their midweek series. After a tidy 6-2 win on Monday, Milwaukee struggled in Tuesday's follow up, going down in extra innings to split the series at 1-1. Freddy Peralta will be starting for the Brewers on Wednesday, and his numbers suggest that we can expect a low scoring one with our data predicting that the Pirates keeping the momentum running and keeping things tight.

Phillies vs. Nationals

Defense is not really a strength either of these teams posses and that's been well and truly evident through the first two games of this series. Both games have gone over and it's looking good to continue with Chase Anderson (6.75 ERA) and Paolo Espino (3.08) taking to the mound. The last eight games between these two teams have yielded an average of 13 runs per game. I don't use the term super whale max banger very often, but to me this play is a great bet.

Cubs vs. Rockies

It's a rare thing to see the Rockies such overwhelming favorites in a game, but it probably says more about where the Cubs are at than the Rockies. That will happen when you trade all your good players away. Chicago are in big trouble, having lost five of their last six games, including last night's series opener in Colorado, conceding 13 runs.
For the 46-60 Rockies, they'll be lapping up the opportunity to pummel a team on their home turf.
