Let's try this again, shall we? After last night's Subway Series opener was rained off, the Yankees and Mets will head out there early this afternoon to try and get things started. The weather forecast is still looking dicey at the time of publishing, so hopefully we do see some baseball.

It's quite interesting that the Mets chose to send out their star man, Jacob deGrom, in their last start against the Braves instead of putting him out against the Yanks, but the Mets still have a very strong SP lined up in Taijuan Walker who has an ERA of 2.38. Scoring should be tough early, setting up the bullpens to close it out.

Padres @ Phillies

It will never not feel weird to want to smash the over when Yu Darvish is listed as a probable starter on the mound, but lately it's been a money making machine, particularly when the Padres play on the road. The over is 5-0 in Darvish's last five games on the road which is one of the most quirky and interesting stats in the league right now for a man who has an ERA of 2.44.

For the Phillies, Zach Elfin is listed as the probable SP but he is also battling illness which could see a late change to the pitching matchup. Regardless of who comes out, the Padres' firepower should be enough to combine to help the run total along.

Oh boy, this could get ugly for him going up against the No. 1 offense in the league. Pray for Eli. We're taking the Over.
