It's been a rough couple of weeks for Oakland whose 50-40 record is deceiving. They've lost seven of their last nine, including last night's series opener against Texas in which they went down 2-3. Sometimes teams just seem to have the other figured out, and that's looking to be the case for the Rangers who have won five of the eight games they've played against the A's so far this season.
Working even more in our favor is the fact that these starting pitchers have already come up against each other twice within the last month also. In fact, Texas pitcher Mike Foltynewicz has his only two starting wins of the season against James Kapreilian and the Athletics. While you could absolutely make a case for Texas to win this straight up based upon the form lines, we're going to play it safe and take the run line security.

Moore is giving up 10.54 hits per nine innings with an ERA of 5.60 from a total of 27.1 innings pitched. Boston are a team with legitimate credentials to win the World Series this year. This is a game that they need to capitalize on.
