LEG 1: Marcus Semien to Record a Hit (-260) with DraftKings

Marcus Semien is one of the best hitters in baseball this season. He’s racking up the RBIs, and all we’re asking for is a hit today. 

On the season, Semien is hitting a very impressive .290 average. Semien has a hit in four straight games.

Expanding the sample size, Semien has a hit in nine out of his last 10 games. I think he does it once more against Ashcraft and the Reds today. 

Batting at the top of the order, Semien should see the most plate appearances. The Rangers also get a guaranteed nine innings at bat since they’re the road team. 

The opportunities will be there. We just need Marcus to come through.

Chicago White Sox vs Toronto Blue Jays, 1:08 PM ET

LEG 2: Whit Merrifield to Record a Hit (-210) with DraftKings

Whit Merrifield and the Blue Jays take on Michael Kopech today. I’m confident Whit can get us the hit we need. 

We know Whit is a great hitter at putting the ball in play. His stats reflect this. 

His hit streak finally came to an end yesterday. Prior to that, Merrifield had recorded a hit in 10 straight games. 

On the season, Merrifield is batting .302 so there’s reason to think he’s going to start that streak up again today. 

Kopech isn’t a pitcher that won’t give up hits. Kopech has allowed 6+ hits in three out of four starts.

The White Sox bullpen is one of the worst in baseball, so there should also be opportunities late for Merrifield to come through for us!

Seattle Mariners vs Philadelphia, 6:41 PM ET

LEG 3: Alec Bohm to Record a Hit (-220) with DraftKings

We picked Bohm to record a hit yesterday and he came through for us. I love the matchup today for Bohm and think he records a hit once more.

Bohm faces Logan Gilbert today. Bohm has a hit in four straight home games. At home, he’s batting .273 on the season which is a good average to give us a chance. 

Logan Gilbert gives up hard-contact extra base hits. Bohm is hitting above 67% hard contact hit percentage so there should be opportunities for us there. 

We saw the Phillied struggle at time vs the lefty Marco Gonzales yesterday. The Phillies are a great team vs right-handed pitchers, so I imagine they get plenty of base runners. This should lead to added plate appearances for Bohm.
