Cleveland have stumbled a little this week against the Royals, splitting the four games played between the pair so far this series, but they should make light work of them today with one of their best aces in the hole in Cal Quantrill (14-5, 3.42 ERA). The Guardians are prolific when Quantrill starts, winning 15 of their last 16 games when he's taken to the mound. The Guards need a good tune up, and they'll get one tonight against an inferior ball club.

Blue Jays vs. Orioles, 7:07PM ET

The Jays have been scoring at will over the past couple of weeks with an average of 5.54 runs per game across their last 10 but it might very well be their opponents tonight with the best opportunity of piling them on in this one. Toronto will be sending out Mitch White (1-6, 5.21 ERA) to start - a pitcher who is allowing 3.4 runs per start across his last 10 appearances which average just over 4 innings per game. The forecast calls for showers in Baltimore tonight, so we may be plagued by delays, but the over is a play that we cannot resist.

Rays vs. Red Sox, 7:10PM ET

Tampa Bay are heading into the postseason in perhaps the worst run of form of all other teams who have already booked their place with just 2 wins in their last 9 games. The big issue for the Rays has been scoring - they average just 2.4 runs scored per game during that span. They'll have to contend with Sox starter Nathan Eovaldi (5-3, 4.05 ERA) tonight who does have a record for letting games get away from him at times, but also has been able to produce some stoic performances. On the other side, Rays pitcher Jeffrey Springs (9-4, 2.45 ERA) should be able to restrict the Boston hitters to a low score. This has the hallmarks of a grind.
