Mike Minor (4-10, 5.70 ERA) has a record for the Reds this year that wouldn't strike too much fear in the opposition, but to his credit, the ace has been a little better recently. Minor has a 2-0 record to go along with a 2.60 ERA over his last three starts to instil hope in Cincinnati fans that they're in the box seat for the W this evening. While Pittsburgh were honorable with a pair of losses against the Cardinals on Friday and Saturday, Bryse Wilson (2-8, 6.11 ERA) has been nothing short of horrible as a starting pitcher this year and will find things tough tonight.

Astros vs. Tigers, 6:40PM ET

Detroit have had a cushy schedule in September with back-to-back series over the Royals, Angels and Royals, going 4-4 during that span as they now gear up for a step up in class against one of the league's powerhouses in the Astros. For Houston, they've continued with their dominant ways with a 7-3 record over their last 10 games. They'll have the instant advantage in the pitcher's matchup with Framber Valdez (14-5, 2.64 ERA) to take on Eduardo Rodriguez (3-4, 4.13 ERA). Detroit have the worst run offense in the MLB and will be suffocated from the get go.
