Braves vs. Astros

The Braves have defied all logic to get this far after a slow start and losing one of their best players, Ronald Acuña Jr, to injury midway through the year once it seemed like they were finally starting to build some momentum. Their postseason run has been impressive, built upon defense, with some elite pitching from the likes of Fried, Anderson, and Game 1's starter, Charlie Morton. However, their strong run defense will be put to the ultimate test against one of the best offenses in baseball in the Astros. 

Of the three Braves pitching weapons, Morton has been the more costly SP over his last few outings, giving up at least 2 runs in each of his last three starts. On Houston's side, Framber Valdez has has had some leaky stretches throughout the season, but will be full of confidence after keeping the Red Sox to just one run through 8 pitched innings in Game 4 of their Championship Series.

This series will be close, but at Minute Maid Park, this will be the best opportunity for Houston to attack Morton and run up the run total early. We've got the home team starting 1-0.
