Chris Sale, who started in the final game of the regular season against Washington, will be on the mound for the Sox, and he'll be looking for a better start than the one against the Nats where the team found themselves down early. His record against the Rays is encouraging with a 2.79 ERA from two appearances against them this season.

Once again, a low scoring game appears to be the most likely result, with the Rays' ace Shane Baz - who has slotted into this rotation seamlessly in the back end of the year - sporting a 2.03 ERA from his three appearances on the bump this season. Playoff baseball could be a whole different beast for the relatively inexperienced Baz, but our projections says this one goes under.
