Sports Bettor Hits 25-Leg Parlay, Turning $1 into $94,543.65 in Winnings

March Madness is almost here, and one bettor is already feeling the magic, hitting a 25-leg college basketball parlay to win $94,543.63 on a $1 bet at FanDuel Sportsbook. The bet is truly absurd - encompassing nearly every big game from the night of February 28th, including moneyline bets, spread bets, and even a few alternate lines. It is every bettor's dream to turn $1 into five-figures. Here's how he did it.

25-Leg Parlay Cashes turning $1 into $94,543.65

The ticket he placed at FanDuel Sportsbook barely even looks real. How could one person choose this many winners in a correct combination of moneyline picks and bets against the spread? It's as if he had a crystal ball. Just look at the ticket itself:

There were multiple legs in this one that seem improbable looking back on it, but especially when stacked together. While some of the legs included huge favorites on the moneyline like Virginia Tech (-10.5) to beat Louisville and Marquette (-7.5) to beat Butler, it also included multiple legs that were closer to a 50/50 probability, or even longer, according to our DimersBOT.

Michigan State (-5.5) to beat Nebraska nearly ruined this miracle parlay winner. The Spartans were down 12 points at halftime, and needed an 18-point turnaround at minimum in the final 20 minutes to cover. Of course, the Spartans did just that, and cruised to a victory by double digits.

The parlay also featured multiple alternate spread bets that swung the odds in an even more lucrative direction. One of the legs included was Florida -7.5 over Georgia. The Gators opened as 2-point favorites on the road against Georgia, before escaping with a 77-67 road victory (and more importantly, a cover).

The wildest leg of the parlay was Iowa -7.5 at Indiana. Iowa opened as six-point underdogs pre-game, but jumped out to an early lead. Our bettor played the alternate spread (Iowa -7.5) at huge odds, and the Hawkeyes rewarded his belief with a 22-point victory.

This winning parlay ticket certainly belongs in the sports betting hall of fame. Here's to hoping this bettor uses some of his winnings to attend this year's Final Four in Houston, and maybe he can buy his way onto the court to cut down the nets in April. He deserves it!
