After 17 long weeks under the cloud of the most devastating period of our lives, every single NFL game of the regular season has been completed and we are gearing up for the 2020/21 playoffs.
The fact that we’re here is a testament to the league that stopped at nothing to ensure the NFL season remained in-tact. And while it’s led to some crazy moments (like Denver playing in Week 12 without an actual QB), we’re just happy to have had something to bet on every Sunday. But now the real stuff begins - the NFL Playoffs.
With the expanded playoff format this season, there are even more variables thrown up from a betting perspective, and with that comes the opportunity to find some value and cash in big.
Here are our best NFL betting plays as we head into the postseason:
The Chiefs are the obvious betting favorites to win it all, but at odds of +220, why would you bother? That’s why we’re going with one of the most exciting teams in the league to watch, the Buffalo Bills, to take home Lombardi.
The Bills, who were earmarked to blossom this season, have done exactly that through quarterback Josh Allen and league receiving leader Stefon Diggs.
Questions will be raised given the fact they have already lost to Kansas City once this season, but we think they've got the ability to get past them.
Our pick: Bills (+750)
Despite DimersBOT heavily favoring the Kansas City Chiefs, as mentioned I actually like Buffalo to win it all, but who do we like them to beat? The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have had an up-and-down season. With Tom Brady pulling the strings, at times they’ve looked unstoppable, while other times they’ve looked downright awful.
Their path to the 2021 Super Bowl LV isn’t too bad; they’ve got Washington first up (go ahead and put a W in the column now). After that, Green Bay will be a challenge, but if they pull it off, then the sky's the limit. A nice value play.
Our pick: Bills vs. Bucs (+2200)
A nice betting market on offer from DraftKings Sportsbook and a GREAT one to use a sign-up bonus offer on (DK offers a great deposit match for new users), this one lets you choose who the winning Championship conference will be.
If the Bills don’t steer us to a big payday, the AFC has lots of quality by the likes of the Chiefs, Steelers, Colts, Ravens, and Titans to save us. It’s hard to see anyone in the NFC beating any of those teams in the Super Bowl.
Our pick: AFC (-143)
SUPER BOWL MVP
At the risk of becoming the Bills’ number one fanboys, it’s only natural that we’ll take QB Josh Allen to win the Super Bowl LV MVP, but smart bettors always hedge, and there is simply too much value on the board for this market to not have a play on a few others at long odds before the playoffs start in order to cash in. Check the Super Bowl MVP odds and spread your bankroll across our top picks.
Our picks: Josh Allen (+1000), Tyreek Hill (+1800), Stefon Diggs (+4000), Tom Brady (+1500)
