The New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks will face off on February 8 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, in a rematch of their infamous Super Bowl XLIX encounter. Who is Bad Bunny? Super Bowl LX’s halftime performer—by the numbers
Unless you follow Latin music closely, you might be unaware that Bad Bunny is one of the world’s highest-streamed artists. Yes, even bigger than Taylor Swift. The Puerto Rican native and “King of Latin Trap,” Benito “Bad Bunny” Ocasio, is set to become the first Super Bowl halftime performer to perform entirely in Spanish.
This won’t be his first time at the Big Game, either. Bad Bunny previously appeared alongside J Balvin as a special guest during Jennifer Lopez and Shakira's Super Bowl LIV performance. Bad Bunny’s also no stranger to appearing as the centerpiece in big sports events. An avid wrestling fan, Bad Bunny has made multiple WWE appearances. In 2023 he brought his hometown to a standstill during his epic Backlash ring entrance.
While there’s been political pushback ever since Bad Bunny was first announced by Jay-Z’s Roc Nation, the numbers back his selection. The 31-year-old Latin vocalist dominated pop culture in 2025. His sixth solo album, ‘Debí Tirar Más Fotos (DtMF),’ set off a global resurgence in salsa music’s popularity, taking home five Latin Grammys and yielding six nominations at the 68th Annual Grammys to take place February 1, a week before Super Bowl LX.
Bad Bunny’s defining moment of 2025 was his historic, record-breaking 21-date residency in San Juan, Puerto Rico, which was responsible for a $200m economic boom in the singer’s Caribbean homeland. He then capped off the year by being crowned Spotify’s top artist for the fourth time, with 19.8 billion streams.
Bad Bunny is performing at the peak of his career and is among the most global stars to headline a Super Bowl halftime show.
What will be Bad Bunny’s first song at the Super Bowl?
The halftime show opener is one of the biggest novelty betting markets because it combines predictability with significant uncertainty. Artists rarely open with their #1 hit, but the first song sets the tone for the entire performance.
Bad Bunny’s Spanish-language set and diverse catalog make predicting the opener a high-variance market. Bad Bunny spans Latin trap, reggaeton, pop, and traditional genres like salsa, bossa nova, and bomba—a range that informs opening song predictions and creates market uncertainty. However, the edge lies in reading the prediction market’s projections.
Bad Bunny’s 2025 album ‘Debí Tirar Más Fotos (DtMF)’ was earth shattering, and it appears to be the key to calling the halftime show opener. Several DtMF tracks are favored in opener betting markets. Why? Because DtMF is all about Puerto Rico, and the album is loaded with songs paying tribute to the island.
The current favorite opener is one of the album’s most impactful singles, the salsa track ‘BAILE INoLVIDABLE’. It’s got big and cinematic energy and would suitably set the tone of how culturally and musically diverse Bad Bunny is. Another frontrunner is one of BB’s signature reggaeton hits, ‘Titi Me Pregunto’, the chart-topping cut from his fifth album, ‘Un Verano Sin Ti’.
Kalshi currently lists the following five songs as the top-likely show openers:
- BAILE INoLVIDABLE—36%
- Titi me Pregunto—28%
- NUEVAYol—21%
- DtMF—13%
- LA MuDANZA—8%
What’s important to note is no track exceeds 40%, meaning there’s enough uncertainty to make it still a wide-open field.

Which songs will make Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl set list?
Betting on which songs will appear in the setlist is generally lower-risk than picking the opener.
The average duration of the halftime show is around 12-14 minutes, with set lists averaging at 11.5 songs. Those are solid odds to call just one song.
Because artists often perform abbreviated tracks and medleys, bettors should consider the breadth of Bad Bunny’s catalog when predicting which songs will appear (and for the song and set length).
The three most likely songs to appear are also top opener contenders:
- Titi Me Pregunto—93%
- BAILE INoLVIDABLE—93%
- DtMF—87%
Probabilities above 85% suggest near-consensus picks, meaning these tracks are almost certain to appear. A longer-shot inclusion with a bit of value is the 2018 hit ‘Mia’ featuring Drake (23%), arguably Bad Bunny’s most recognizable crossover hit.

Who will make a special guest appearance at Super Bowl LX?
Since Bad Bunny himself has appeared as a Super Bowl special guest, chances are high that he extends an invitation to rising artists or fellow superstars.
With that in mind, the clear favorite to make a cameo is one of the Queens of modern rap, who also has Latin roots, Cardi B. The New York star of ‘WAP’ fame currently has a 63% probability of performing. Her hit ‘I Like it’ is one of Bad Bunny’s other major US hits. Lastly, Cardi’s partner, star wide receiver Stefon Diggs, is suiting up for the Patriots at the Big Game, adding an extra connection for Cardi to the game.
Other interesting options include fellow Puerto Rican icons Marc Antony (23%) and El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico (23%). There’s also been speculation about reggaeton legend Daddy Yankee appearing. The fellow Puerto Rican and “King of Reggaeton” has collaborated with Bad Bunny numerous times. However, Yankee has publicly stated he won’t be there.

Will Bad Bunny be the GOAT Super Bowl Halftime Show?
Even before Bad Bunny steps onto the stage at Levi's Stadium on February 8, his halftime show promises to make history. Only time will tell if the performance lives up to the high expectations. The numbers are on his side that this could go down as one of the greatest Super Bowl halftime shows of all time. For sharp-eyed novelty bettors, the opportunity lies in bookmakers underestimating Bad Bunny and undervaluing the odds.
