The Dallas Stars finish up a two game set in Seattle tonight at Climate Pledge Arena.

Dallas stole a 4-3 victory on Saturday night, in overtime. Joe Pavelski tied the game with 70 seconds remaining and Miro Heiskanen netted the game winner in overtime.

The win placed Dallas into first in the Central Division, one point up on Minnesota. Despite the loss, Seattle remained in third place in the Pacific Division.

I usually don’t like to go back to the previous game’s winner in this situation but I am doing exactly that tonight. The Stars have the edge offensively, defensively and especially goaltending.

The duo of Philip Grubauer and Martin Jones simply is not adequate enough for Seattle.

Grubauer has now given up nine goals over his last two starts. Martin Jones has a .888 save percentage this season and he has allowed 23 goals over his last six starts.
