PICK: Dallas Stars Team Total Over 3.5 (+100)

The Dallas Stars return home from a six game road trip tonight as they host the Seattle Kraken.

The Stars went 4-2 on the trip, which included two wins in Seattle by scores of 4-3 and 5-2.

Dallas currently occupies the top spot in the Central, with a one-point lead on Colorado and Minnesota.

Seattle enters this contest losers of four out of their last five games. The Kraken occupy the first wild card spot in the Western Conference.

Seattle’s already shaky goaltending was dealt a blow on Saturday as Philipp Grubauer left early with an illness and is questionable to start tonight.

Whether he states or Martin Jones, it may not matter. Grubauer has a 3.02 GAA and a .893 save percentage this season.

Martin Jones has a 3.07 GAA and a .885 save percentage. Post All- Star break the Kraken are allowing 3.5 goals per game, which is 10 worst in the league.

Conversely, Dallas is averaging 3.6 goals per game post all star break, which is ninth best in the league.

The Stars scored 28 goals in their road trip and I like them to bring that momentum home tonight, so I’ll back their team total Over, at even money.
