NFL 2020 Playoffs Los Angeles Rams vs. Seattle Seahawks: Predictions, picks and bets

Super Wild Card Weekend is here and we have one of the more genuine 50-50 contest of the weekend on our hands when the Seattle Seahawks host the Los Angeles Rams.

The Seahawks will enter this one as favorites and for good reason. Jared Goff headlines a host of injuries for the Rams and will most likely be on the sidelines, forcing LA to play backup John Wolford in just his second game. It means the NFL’s number 1 ranking defense will need to hold off an onslaught of Hawk attacks effectively whilst finding a way to score themselves. They may have gotten away with it against the Cardinals last week but with Russ “Just Let Me Cook” Wilson and DK "Little Muscle" Metcalf on the loose, the Seahawks are a completely different foe.

Our NFL Bet Hub has broken this one down by the numbers if words aren’t really your thing. Go check out the predictive analysis, best bets and player prop plays there!‍ It's a quick digest!

Before we get into our suggested plays for this game, we'd be doing you a disservice by not letting you in on this deal from BetMGM. Basically, you can bet $1 on any team to win this weekend, and as soon as either team in that matchup scores a touchdown, you'll pocket a cool $100. It's a great way to make bank and get ahead this weekend before Sunday's action.

💪 Spread

These two teams played each other on two occasions already this year for a 1-1 record straight up and against the spread (ATS). In both their wins they were each slim favorites at the time and covered, so 2020 history is in the Seahawks favor, given they'll enter this matchup as favorites. Seattle has an 8-8 ATS record this season and were favorites in all of those bar one. The Rams boast a slightly better ATS record at 9-7. This one is really close as you’ll see from DimersBOT’s predicted scores so check back here regularly until you’re ready to make your play.

🚀 Over/Under

There are a number of factors that need to be considered when making the Over/Under play for this game. Number one: Can Russ and the offensive line pierce LA’s stingy defense? Number two: Can the Rams find a way to score on the counter? If the answer to one of these is a yes, then you might want to consider an Over play if the total match points line set by the sportsbooks stays at low 40’s. If it creeps up any higher, or if the answer to both the questions above is a ‘no’ then take the Under. Here’s what our model is currently predicting:

💵 Moneyline

Seattle has put together a 7-1 win-loss record when playing at home this season and it might be enough to sway you in favor of the home side again. But if it’s not, consider an almost toothless, QB-less Rams outfit and you’re probably happy to take the Seahawks at the moneyline. Want to make the most out of your moneyline bet? Our algorithm finds the best sportsbook for you to bet with in order to get the highest payout from this particular winning moneyline bet. As you'll probably realize, there's money to be made on a Rams win so if you like the upset take a stab at a moneyline play with the sportsbook listed below.
