MLS Best Bets: Soccer Picks & Parlay for Week 16

It's Matchday16 in Major League Soccer (MLS) and we are once more back with our MLS Best Bets. This week's MLS plays feature Sporting KC vs. Dallas, Philadelphia vs. Charlotte and Real Salt Lake vs. LA Galaxy as we've compiled our three best plays sourced from our MLS predictions model, as well as a +592 MLS parlay for this weekend's action.

MLS Best Bets for Week 16

Philadelphia Union vs. Charlotte FC, 7:30PM ET

These two clubs are separated by just three points in the Eastern Conference standings, but you wouldn't think so by looking at their goal differential. Charlotte have looked much stronger in recent weeks, winning four of their last matches, however, the Union have notched three goals in back-to-back weeks while Charlotte have totaled just two.

You would have to lay some pretty heavy juice (-190) to take the Philadelphia outright win as supported by our model, but fortunately, DimersBOT also likes the Over 2.5 Goals in this match with a 57.8% probability. We'll pair an alternate Over of 1.5 with the Philadelphia win to get ourselves to -115, a much more palatable price. If you want to stick with the original Over 2.5, you'll get all the way up out to +140.

Sporting KC vs. FC Dallas, 8:30PM ET

This one mostly speaks for itself, but we're going to dive into it anyway. Dallas have held their opponents to one goal or fewer in nine of their last 10 matches. On the other side of the coin, Kansas City have struggled to score this season. With the exception of a four-spot they put up on Portland just a few days ago, they've scored a total of just seven goals all year. When a struggling offense meets a brick wall defense, there's only one way to bet: the Under.

DimersBOT gives us a 56.8% chance of hitting the Uener 2.5 in this one, good enough for a slight edge of 4.4% in this one.

Real Salt Lake vs. LA Galaxy, 9:30PM ET

Salt Lake have lost just once in their past seven matches, also notching two wins in that time, as many as their opponent have this entire season. L.A. graces the absolute bottom of the table, with just 9 points on the year. Their star Chicharito is serving a red-card suspension and will be out for this match. 

DimersBOT gives Salt Lake a 49.2% chance to pick up a win in this one, giving us a very slight +EV. Salt Lake will be looking to inch closer into the playoff field and we're getting plus-money value for a win against the worst team in all of MLS who hasn't scored in their past three matches.
