Guardians vs. Mets Analysis

Cleveland Guardians vs. New York Mets, 7:10PM ET

LEG 1: Shane Bieber 4+ Strikeouts

In Game 2 of the Cleveland vs. New York double header, Shane Bieber is expected to take the hill for the Guardians. Bieber has been consistent this year, with a 3.20 ERA and a 3-2 record overall. He has also been a strikeout wizard. He has notched four or more strikeouts in eight consecutive starts. He has 43 on the season, and against a Mets lineup that may have some substitutions in due to the double header, we like Bieber adding to his strikeout streak and finishing with 4+ for the ninth consecutive game.

LEG 2: Justin Verlander 5+ Hits Allowed

On the other side of this pitching matchup sits Justin Verlander. Verlander has made just three starts this season and he doesn't have the look of the Verlander of old. He has given up 15 hits in just 17 innings pitched across three starts, averaging 5.0 per game, and that includes one start where he was stellar - in his other two starts he took losses and gave up eight combined runs on 13 hits in just ten innings. Given Verlander's current form, this is a great leg to add to our Same Game Parlay.

LEG 3: Josh Naylor To Get a Hit

We're leaning on the DimersBOT for the third and final leg of our Sunday Night Baseball parlay. Naylor is -215 to get a hit tonight in Game 2, but the DimersBOT projects this nearly as a guarantee, giving Naylor a 82.0% percent probability to record a hit. That's good for a 13% edge on the books. Naylor has only faced Justin Verlander for two plate appearances in his career, but he recorded a hit in one of them. Add it to the two pitching props, and this gives us plus-money on our parlay. Let it fly!
